Emblemata.- Plempius (Cornelius Giselberti) Monogrammon, 2 parts in 1, first title with woodcut printer's device, 2nd part with 50 numbered and 1 unnumbered woodcut emblems, P2 blank, occasional contemporary ink marginalia, occasional spotting, lightly browned, contemporary vellum, yapp edges, [Landwehr, Low Countries, 637; Praz, pp.458-459], small 4to, Amsterdam, Apud Ioannem VValschardum, 1616.

⁂ A rare work of poetry and emblems. Plemp was an important figure in the literary and cultural life of the first decades of the Dutch Golden Age.
