Item Details

Description

Three books on World War I hero Captain Edward V. Rickenbacker. They detail his life not only during World War I but also tell the interesting tale of the impact this American hero had both before and after the war.
1 - Fighting the Flying Circus, 371pp, Edward V. Rickenbacker, Frederick A Stokes Company, 1919.
2 - TWO COPIES - Rickenbacker, 458pp, Edward V. Rickenbacker, Prentice Hall Inc., 1967. One has dust jacket and one has only the front cover of the dust jacket.
Measure 7.5" & 9.25".

Condition

Condition - Fighting the Flying Circus shows soiled and scuffed front and back covers with sunned spine. Foxing on pages, edges and front and back boards with tear in backstrip.
Rickenbacker - One has dust jacket with shelf wear showing tears and holes and price clipped from inside jacket. One has only the front cover of the dust jacket and shows some sunning on cover and spine.
