Late Period, 664-332 BC. A mixed group of glazed composition amuletic plaques comprising: Bes with feathered headdress, pierced; a scarab wing, pierced; a discoid bead with wedjat design, pierced; a discoid plaque with bust of Serapis with modius. 17 grams total, 28-35mm (1 - 1 1/2"). Property of a lady; acquired in the late 1970s on the London art market. [4]
