French Patinated and Gilt Spelter and Marble Mantle Clock, 19th c., by Japy Freres, depicting a king on horseback, above a drum clock, time and strike, with an enamel dial, above a gilt spelter facade with two fleur-de-lis finials, above two inset white marble panels, over crossed swords and a shield at the bottom, with pendulum, together with an ebonized wood dome base, Clock- H.-20 1/2 in., W.- 17 1/2 in., D.- 8 in. Provenance: The Estate of Sidney J. Mazarat III, New Orleans, Louisiana.
