Churchill, with holograph salutation and subscription, one page, 4to, Hyde Park Gate, London, 6th February 1951, to James Chuter Ede ('My dear Ede'). Churchill writes, in full, 'Hawkey is coming to see me tomorrow, Wednesday, in my room in the House of Commons. Would you care to look in there between 4 and 4.30 p.m. and have a whisky and soda with us?'. Accompanied by the original envelope. VG
