Europe, Italy, ca. 18th century CE. Four etchings from a series depicting Roman monuments, one dated June 1788, another October 1707, and two dated December 1786. All are finely delineated and feature well-executed imagery inspired by the classical world. All are matted. Size: plates measure 7.875" L x 4.875" W (20 cm x 12.4 cm), sheets measure 9.5" L x 6" W (24.1 cm x 15.2 cm); matted 16.875" L x 13.375" W (42.9 cm x 34 cm)
