Ancient Greece, Mycenaean, ca. 1500 BCE. A wheel-made pottery vessel of a classic Mycenaean form with a globular body, petite round foot, and twin handles that meet at a central spout. The vessel is comprised of buff clay with hand painted encircling bands in hues of russet red and black. A wonderfully piece from approximately 1500 BCE, exemplifying the classic Mycenaen style and technique. Size: 4.25" in diameter x 4.75" H (10.8 cm x 12.1 cm)
