Description
A late George III oak potboard dresser and rack. Early 19th century, the upper stage having a moulded cornice over twelve iron hooks, over two shelves each with hooks, the lower stage with raised back over moulded rectangular top, and a pair of cockbeaded deep drawers with brass swan-neck bale handles, flanking a T-shaped arrangement of three short drawers and two arched aprons, raised on three ring-turned column supports, the potboard base on bracket feet, 75.5 x 15.5 x 77.5 high, (192cm x 39.5cm x 197cm).
Condition
Minor loss to cornice. Crack to right side of top. Otherwise appears in good condition.
