Description
Copeland Family Provenance: a group of 19th century Stone China ceramics. To include: a Spode canted oblong dish, decorated in Chinoiserie 'famille rose' palette, printed marks, painted number 3125, 14.5, (37cm) wide; a Copeland Late Spode milk jug, with collection label A.G.C. 1282 (for A. Gresham Copeland); a side plate, inscribed Spode 1809, impressed and printed marks, label A.G.C. 1240; plus fifteen other larger plates, to include a set of seven 'Asiatic Pheasant' dinner plates, pattern 2118, A.G.C. annotations 656/3 to 656/9; a pair of 'Indian Tree' type design, one exhibited at the 1970 Royal Academy 'Spode Bicentenary' exhibition, both with A.G.C. labels; a 'Pitfour' pattern example; various A.G.C. collection numbers, 113, 342, 503, 571, etc, (16).
Condition
Large lot: slightly varying condition but all structurally sound - minor rubbing/wear commensurate with age and use.
