Herbert J. Seligmann was an American poet and critic who became friends with Stieglitz and spent time with him at his galleries, An Intimate Gallery and An American Place. This book recounts conversations that Stieglitz had with Seligman and others. Big Al's wide-ranging comments were usually sparked by exhibitions of work by three artists in his stable: Arthur G. Dove, John Marin, and Georgia O'Keeffe. Fine condition, in lightly chipped jacket.
