Beautiful and musical too, this finely made Narino pottery ocarina was modeled in the elegant shape of sea shell and meticulously decorated with a polychrome stylized birds and geometric motifs, all in vivid hues of red and tan, via the Narino artisan's signature negative resist technique. Perforations through one end for suspension. A fabulous Pre-Columbian wind musical instrument! Size: 4.75" L x 3.625" W (12.1 cm x 9.2 cm)
