BLENKO GLASS - WINSLOW ANDERSON BOWLS / DISHES, LOT OF FIVE, including a deep blue salad bowl, a unique colorless bird-form bowl signed and dated by the artist, and an amethyst free-form bowl signed and dated by the artist. Mid-20th century. 2 1/2" to 4 1/2" HOA, 9 1/2" D blue rim.
Amethyst bowl with a chip to the rim, remainder undamaged with some having minor wear.
Provenance: Winslow Anderson estate sold to benefit the Huntington Museum of Art.
Catalogue Note: Winslow Anderson was the first design director at Blenko, he held this position from 1946 - 1952 before moving on as a design director for Lenox China in 1953.
