CHINESE CERAMIC MODELED ANIMALS, LOT OF TWO, comprising one camel with pack and materials on back, and one horse with a figure on its back, the head of which is removable, both having clear and green glaze in areas over the buff red clay body. Unmarked. Horse figure retains Certificate of Antiquity, and associated sales receipt from A & J Gallery, New York, NY, dated 4/17/1999 (UPDATED 4/29/17). Ming Dynasty or later. 9 7/8" and 11 1/4" H.
Very good visual condition overall with expected wear with age and manufacture.
