9ct. gold & enamel Glasgow Cup medal won by Thomas Muirhead of Rangers FC 16th October 1929, inscribed with details, replacement case Tommy Muirhead was born at Cowdenbeath 24th January 1897. He was a forward and joined Rangers from Hibs in 1917 and won eight Championship medals before we spent a brief spell in the American Soccer League for Boston Wonder Workers. The medal being offered here relates to Muirhead's second spell at Ibrox, where he played until 1930. He also won eight Scotland international caps, once as captain.
