FEATURE ITEM - JUST ADDED

ONE OF A KIND - ARNOLD SKOLNICK OWNED AND SIGNED WOODSTOCK BLANK - REAL - RARE - ORIGINAL - Woodstock Music and Art Fair(large version without black plate)Owned by the artist: Arnold SKOLNICK, since 1969. Printed by Rappaport Press. Offset Lithography on paper. According to Arnold SKOLNICK, because of the continually changing band lineup for the Woodstock festival, Rappaport printed the posters without the black plate, which could be quickly added later, when the posters were needed. The resulting graphic, stripped down to only the hand, guitar neck, bird and famous tag line, illustrates the dramatic branding impact of SKOLNICK's iconic design. Owned and direct from the living estate of the Artist. Signed by the artist. Original - Rare and available ONE TIME. This is one of the LAST KNOWN Woodstock blanks available. Poster will not come framed. Comes with COA on Skolnick letterhead, signed by the artist. The Woodstock Music & Art Fair (informally, Woodstock) was a music festival, billed as "An Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music". It was held at Max Yasgur's 600-acre dairy farm in the Catskills near the hamlet of White Lake in the town of Bethel, New York, from August 15 to August 18, 1969. Bethel, in Sullivan County, is 43 miles (69 km) southwest of the town of Woodstock, New York, in adjoining Ulster County. During the sometimes rainy weekend, thirty-two acts performed outdoors in front of 400,000 concert-goers. It is widely regarded as a pivotal moment in popular music history. Rolling Stone listed it as one of the 50 Moments That Changed the History of Rock and Roll. The event was captured in the 1970 documentary movie Woodstock, an accompanying soundtrack album, and Joni Mitchell's song "Woodstock", which commemorated the event and became a major hit for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. These posters are DIRECT from Arnold. They are the last known originals available from his vault / storage. Please be aware that NEAR MINT/FINE means these posters are immaculate for their age. There are little to no markings or creasing - but this poster is sold as is - and there are always some slight imperfections such as small dents in edges and corners. If you are questioning the originality of these posters... DONT. I have included pictures of myself with Arnold Skolnick (the poster artist) and David Byrd, the original poster artists for Woodstock. We all visited Woodstock together. These posters are DIRECT from Arnold. They are the last known originals available. PERIOD.Paper: Thin Stock Size:24 X 36.625. August 15, 16, and 17, 1969. AoR (Art of Rock) 3.1.
