Asia or North America, Eocene period, ca. 56 to 33 million years ago. A nicely preserved turtle shell from the now extinct genus Anosteira (also Anostera). Fine structures are preserved as well as the texture of the shell. Size: 10.125" L x 8.25" W (25.7 cm x 21 cm)
