Description
Ancient Rome, Imperial Period, ca. 1st century CE. A graceful vessel comprised of stunning cobalt blue translucent glass, its form presenting a near spherical body that extends into a tubular neck with a splayed lip and folded rim. A fine trail of glass was carefully and evenly wrapped around the entire body of the vessel from the bottom to the base of the neck. What's more, internal iridescence adds to the aesthetic of this vessel. Size: 2.625" in diameter at widest point x 4" H (6.7 cm x 10.2 cm)
