Roman Empire, most likely from Egypt, ca. 2nd to 3rd century CE. Carved bone - cow or oxen - in the form of a standing female. She stands with her right hand covering her bare breasts, her left holds up her himation which has fallen to her waist, folds of her gown shown along each side of her legs. A very nice example! Custom base. Size: 5.75" H (14.6 cm)
