Greece, possibly Tarentum, ca. 5th to 4th century BCE. Large and absolutely stunning pottery head of a goddess. Of a reddish clay with gray slip, this gorgeous goddess wears a broad stephane, hair pulled back with tight curls along her forehead and to the sides. A classic beauty! Custom stand. Size: 5.75" H (14.6 cm)
