Smith 1948 hardcover printing, with the dust jacket, of Arthur Hugh Jenkins' "Adam Smith Today, An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of The Wealth of Nations, Simplified, Shortened and Modernized" (480 pages). The dust jacket is scuffed and with shallow edge wear, but complete, with no deep tears or prominent stains. The lettering is unfaded. The price is not clipped. The cover, red cloth background with gold lettering to the front and spine, is in very good condition, with shallow curl to the ends of the spine, and minimal bumps to the outside corners, but with no stains of note, no tears, no fade to the color. The spine is straight and securely attached. The inside is also very good overall, the two main flaws being foxing to the page edges and slight darkening to the inside cover spreads. The page faces are otherwise in excellent condition, with no stains, no text fade, and no tears. A few pages have shallow, not sharp, creases to their upper outside corners. Almost all pages have none. There are no stamps or other attachments. The only writing is a name, in ink, to the top of the otherwise blank front end page.
