Details: Antique Windsor design sack-back armchair.

This handsome chair features a classic late 18th Century Windsor sack-back armchair design. Black paint over hardwood. Decoratively constructed bent hardwood, with armrests and classic sack-back backrest. The maker and date of manufacture are unverified. There are no maker's marks visible on this chair.

Overall dimensions are 25 3/4" wide by 30" tall by 20" deep. Seat height is 17 1/2" and seat width is 21 1/4", seat depth is 15".

This lot is from the estate of a very well-known and well-respected lifetime Civil War collector in Upstate New York.
