1930s Hubley Manufacturing Co. Polychrome Painted Cast Iron "Trick Dog" Mechanical Bank - This lovely, vintage piece was made in the 1930s by Hubley Manufacturing Co. The piece is a polychrome painted, cast iron mechanical coin bank. The bank depicts a clown with his dog, performing tricks. This "Trick Dog" bank is the 2nd bank of this type made by the company. The dog is at one end, with an opened mouth to place your coin. The clown holds a hoop next to a barrel on the opposite side, and when you push the lever on the side of the bank, the mechanism activates the dog to jump through the clown's loop, depositing the coin into the barrel. The bank has a rectangular cornice form base painted in blue, and measures 7"H x 8.75"L x 3"W. Please note: the bank will not come with the key.
