A CAVALRY OFFICERS SWORD, plain curved blade, stirrup hilt with traces of gilding, longuets with acanthus foliage, chequered ivory grip, 33.5-inches, early 19th century, blade heavily rusted, grip with large piece missing; and a German officers sword, blade with single fuller, hilt with lions head pommel, one quillon with crossed cannon, dark grip, in scabbard, 39.5-inches, late 19th century, traces of plate overall, much rust (2).
