The number of plates has been reduced from the 16 of the 1910 first printing, and the metallic green ink is no longer used. There is no silver used on the spine. With the publisher's advertisement listing titles through The Tin Woodman of Oz. Binding "D", with Reilly & Lee imprint on spine. Bienvenue & Schmidt, p. 48

Condition

Light rubbing to binding; small area of staining on front free endpaper, which on the recto has been neatly covered by a small strip of paper, name on ownership page; a solid copy, very good.
