Exceedingly Rare. A Pair of Two Difference 4" square Steel Die Cut Molds, each about 1/2" thick. These molds are numbered 92883 and 93207 respectively upon one edge. Each has notches on the top and bottom for wax and threaded screw holes in each of the corners on the blank reverse for pressing and holding them in place while cooling. Likely used to emboss invitations, make wax seals or other official document purposes. These appear likely produced within the last half century or so, but can provide no definitive information. They seem completely authentic in all respects as original die molds of the White House. These both show signs of actual use, having apparently been heated numerous times to produce official United States Presidential Seals. The very first such examples we have ever encountered. An extraordinary pair of die mold rarities, and a prize for any Presidential collection. Quite remarkable. (2 items)
