1844 Printed by N. Currier (of Currier & Ives) to commemorate President Polk’s election. This Handcolored Print features the images of the Ten Presidents that preceded Polk, with George Washington at the center and a classic vignette of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence just above Polk’s image and measures 9.75” x 13.75” (by sight) in a handsome decorative modern frame, measuring fully to 17.75” x 21.75”. This Print shows overall tone and a small dampstain in lower left by Van Buren/Tyler. Lower right corner shows a small crease or perhaps a repair. Not examined outside of frame. A pleasing historical print, ready for display.
