June 18, 1776 Small Format Highest Denomination Note
Colony of the Massachusetts Bay. June 18, 1776. Five Shillings and Four Pence. Small Change Typeset Design. PCGS graded Very Fine-30.
Fr. MA-205. A well centered and printed example of this 1776 Revolutionary War note. This is the highest denomination of the “small format” notes on this issue. It has a nice even and clean look from the face. Noted with "Apparent small edge tear at top right; mounting remnants on back corners” on its holder, from a prior display which appear easily removable. A pleasing note.
