Item Details
Description
Massachusetts Currency
June 18, 1776 Small Format Highest Denomination Note
Colony of the Massachusetts Bay. June 18, 1776. Five Shillings and Four Pence. Small Change Typeset Design. PCGS graded Very Fine-30.
Fr. MA-205. A well centered and printed example of this 1776 Revolutionary War note. This is the highest denomination of the “small format” notes on this issue. It has a nice even and clean look from the face. Noted with "Apparent small edge tear at top right; mounting remnants on back corners” on its holder, from a prior display which appear easily removable. A pleasing note.
