A rare 19th century French Bronze Sculpture by AUGUSTIN JEAN MOREAU BAUTHIER titled "FORTUNA" signed Moreau Vauthier, with Paris France Barbedienne foundry marks, parcel gilt contrasted with a rich brown patina, featuring Fortuna with cornucopia in one hand and lyre in the other, standing on the world flanked by a cute pair of winged angel putti raised a wiping cloud. This work is 100% original 19th century French and represents the height of the quality bronze making that this era and is know for by renowned Barbedienne foundry in the heart of Paris France. This monumental work would make an impressive gift or addition any fine household or collection. - SIZE: 26" Height x 9" Width x 6" Depth. - CONDITION: Very good, a very very minor old stress fissure at the base of her foot where she is standing on the globe, overall excellent original period condition.
