This is an excellent early hand carved wood dance wand showing a horse head from the Lakota Sioux Native American Indians. The 19th century piece shows a solid wood construction with deep heavy carved horse head effigy having brass covered iron trade tack eyes. The piece was believed to be from a Warrior killed at battle. Provenance: From a large Native American & Old West Americana collection in Saskatchewan, Canada. Measures overall 33.75"L x 7"W.
