Painting exhibits signs of past professional restorations. Early restoration included minor inpainted "touch-ups" to the sky and to left edge before it was revarnished. Additional inpainting (more small scattered areas) was done to the sky and to the lower center and lower right near edge at a later time, probably when it was relined. There are a few tiny losses to pigment to upper right corner and to lower left edge. Light surface soiling and various degrees of craquelure are scattered throughout. Condition is as to be expected with age and medium.
