Item Details
Description
Robert Doisneau was a French photographer. Similar to acclaimed photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson, Doisneau was a master of humanist photography and a pioneer of photojournalism. His work displays his enthusiasm for the marvels of daily life, and the unexpected, playful and often ironic moments that comprise it. His candid visions of street life show the influence of figures such as Andre Kertesz, Eugene Atget, and Henri Cartier-Bresson.
