Date: Circa 1861.

Dimensions: The walking stick is about 34 1/2" tall

Additional Information: Fabulous Civil War officer's folk art carved cane or walking stick. This is an great example, it has a carved spread eagle, patriotic shield, Union officer on horseback, an artillery canon, the capitol building and the date 1861. The conditon and original polychrome paint decoration are completely as found. There is a custom made iron stand for display purposes.
