Description
Lanier Meaders (American, Georgia, 1917-1998), circa 1970s. A two tone dark green to light face jug, having a strap handle, painted white eyes with black pupils, incised eyelashes, a pointed nose and ears, and six painted white teeth. Signed to underside. Approximate height 9.5", diameter 7.25". Provenance: From the Estate of Liz Howell Bloodworth, Atlanta, Georgia.
Condition
Some very minor surface wear, including a small abrasion. Firing cracks above ears. Typical shelf wear to base. No other visible signs of damage or repair.
