Wilson, Woodrow (28th President of the United States.) Typed letter signed by Wilson as President, March 5, 1915, on White House stationary. Folded leaf (1 p., 3 blank pp.), 8.5" x 7". Horizontal crease, some wrinkling to margins, rear blank with light residue from matting tape to upper margin. ****************************************** Addressed to Don C. Seitz, New York World paper manager. The letter references a Mr. Glendenning: "I am sorry that anything should have occurred to distress you about Mr. Glendenning. Your letter came to me as a surprise, because nothing has been lodged in my mind certainly to Mr. Glendenning's discredit... You may be sure that no harm has been done to your friend's reputation, so far as we are concerned on this end." Signed by Wilson.
