A George II Scottish silver bullet shaped tea pot by Dougal Ged, Edinburgh 1737, assay master Archibald Ure, with a ball finial, a part-scrolled spout and a leaf-capped double scroll handle, the upper body chased with a mantle of shells, trellis panels scrolls, on a circular pedestal foot, engraved on one side with an armorial, 27cm (10 3/4in) long, 699g (22.45 oz) gross E ngraved with the arms of BRUCE impaling ORROCK of that ilk, co. Fife.
