French Louis XVI Style Carved Mahogany Marble Top Sideboard, 20th c., the highly figured ogee edge cookie corner white marble over three frieze drawers over three cupboard doors, separated by reeded pilasters flanked by rounded reeded engaged columns, on a plinth base, on turned tapered cylindrical legs, H.- 39 5/8 in., W.- 65 in., D.- 22 1/2 in.

Condition consistent with age and use. Scattered scratches, scuffs and two pea-size chips on the marble. Four keys and the ormolu keyhole mounts present. A cluster of dents on the right front column. A 2 inch piece of trim lacking from the back left corner. White scuff marks just below the drawers. Scattered light scratches and dents intermittently throughout. A lovely example.
