Royal Vienna Style Hand Painted Covered Stein, 19th c., the gilt enameled side with a reserve of the "Toilette de Venus," the lid with a reserve of a putto and a maiden, the lid interior with figures in a garden, the underside with a beehive mark and a gold stamped "Toilette de Venus," H.- 6 1/4 in., W.- 3 11/16 in., D.- 5 1/2 in.

Condition

Condition consistent with age and use. Surface cracks throughout interior indicating repairs. Brittle yellow varnish throughout exterior with flakes of varnish lacking from the lid and side. Inconsistent color throughout gilt. The center of the crown atop the handle bent slightly inward. A lovely piece. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
