Pair of Chromed Steel and Leather Wassily Chairs, designed by Marcel Breuer (1902-1981) in 1925, the period examples third quarter 20th century, attributed to Knoll International, upholstered in dark brown leather, unmarked, h. 29", w. 30-3/4", d. 25-1/2".

In overall good condition. Both chairs exhibit normal indications of wear, oxidation, age and use. Tight and solid. There is a very slight separation in the seam of the two tubular sections at their joint on the horizontal floor bar. The leather exhibits wear. The seat has been re-stitched by hand on one fore aft seam and about halfway across the back seam. Scattered wear to other stitching.
