Description
Small gilt bronze Yamantaka in yab-yum with his consort from the 16th - 17th century. This intricate bronze figure was previously mounted to another object as is shown by the two prongs protruding from the Yamantaka's feet. The figure is dynamic and depicts yab-yum, a divine union of man and woman representative of wisdom and compassion. Yamantaka and his consort hold various items in their hands.
Dimensions are 1 1/2 inches wide by 2 1/4 inches high. All measurements are approximate.

Condition
It is worn with age but most of the gilt is still present and it is in overall good condition.
