Description
Pair of knives or letter openers with white jade handles and enamel sheaths. Both blades are long and slender. One has a simple white jade handle carved with a lingzhi mushroom and plant leaves. The other knife has a highly carved jade handle with moths and flowers. It has a silver pommel. Both knives come with matching decorative sheaths. The sheaths have three holes each, one being for the knife. They have silver floral motifs at each end and a blue ground enamel center with flowers and vines. The bottoms each have two-character marks.
Dimensions for the knives are 9 3/4 inches long by 5/8 of an inch wide and 10 5/8 inches long by 5/8 of an inch wide. The sheaths are 9 1/4 inches long by 7/8 of an inch wide. All measurements are approximate.
