Description
Mother of pearl-inlaid lacquer snuff bottle from the late 19th - early 20th century. The snuff bottle has two oval form, white jade plaques mounted on each side. One jade plaque is carved with a shou symbol surrounded by the Eight Immortals' attributes. The other plaque is carved with a lotus flower. It has a stopper with a spoon. The mother of pearl is inlaid in chevron patterns around the sides. The base is inlaid with two-character mark. It has a decorative stopper with a spoon.
Dimensions are 2 1/8 inches wide by 3 1/8 inches high. All measurements are approximate.
