Rome, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A small marble fragment showing a finely rendered rider on horseback in profile. This was most likely a decorative plaque on a public building or home. Size: 4.3" W x 5.2" H (10.9 cm x 13.2 cm)
