An unusual pair of 19th Century English porcelain Japonism vases by Minton, with polychrome pate-sur-pate decoration. One with a possum in white slip, the other an otter, both with wheat, green and brown backgrounds in slip against and olive green ground. The rims and bases with gilt bands. Circa 1880, with crowned globe Minton mark in gold. Apparently unsigned artist.
