Description
Pages three and four from Kennedy's "Colonialism and American Foreign Policy" speech, annotated with pencil in Kennedy's hand. He argued that United States support for its WWII European allies hurt American Cold War efforts whent those European states continued to aggressively pursue colonial expansion and exploitation. Kennedy, then a senator, first gave the speech at his only Los Angeles Town Hall appearance and then gave the speech again in Kansas City on June 2nd, 1956, two pages, a 63mm portion of each page has been folded under, staple holes to top-left margin, Los Angeles, 13 April 1956.
