Manuscript and typed script of "Guinevere. A tragedy in three acts" by Graham Hill, morocco bound, handling wear yellowing to paper, split to joint, 4to , c. 1903. Also comprised are letters and papers to Graham Hill from various people, some loosely inserted, some bound together with the script and some pasted onto free pages of the volume, including: Isidore de Lara (autograph letter signed reading "I return you with many thanks for your libretto. Guinevere is written beautifully, but I consider that certain scenes resemble too closely other scenes in "Tristan und isolde" to land themselves successfully to musical treatment", one page, 8vo , 49 Rue Copernic, Paris, 15 February 1905); William Boosey (typed letter saying "I have carefully read through your libretto and think it is a beautifully written poem, but it seems to me to be most difficult to set to music, as the speeches are necessarily so long and so seldom broken. I hardly know who to recommend to you fo it", one page, 4to , 50 New Bond Street, London, 3 January 1904)
