An Imperial Doucai Bowl, Qianlong Mark and Period. Size: 2" H x 4.25" W. Provenance: ex-collection of Dr. Siegfried Ramler(1927-2009), who lived and worked as a family doctor in Hong Kong during the 1960s-1980s. All pieces in his collection were purchased during this period, now offered by his family in Florida. Reference: A closely related pair of bowls was included in the exhibition Ch’ing Porcelain from the Wah Kwong Collection, Art Gallery, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, 1973, cat. no. 90; another pair in the Umezawa Kinenkan was exhibited in Shincho toji, MOA Art Museum, Atami, 1984, cat. no. 40. Condition
Very good condition with a few hairlines at the centre of the bowl.
