Description

Classically composed c.1990 oil painting on canvas of the luxury sailing yacht Anny von Hamburg, signed Martz. The triple masted schooner was built in 1914 by C. Luhring. The yacht is well documented online, and is shown here at full-sail on a summer day. She is manned by a crew of five, and on her deck we see passengers in bathing suits. On the stern is a German flag, and the American flag is above on the aft mast. The full name of the ship is partially visible on the curve of the stern.
