The commode having shaped aggregate rouge marble top, gilt bronze medallion and scrolled embellishments to upper serpentine drawer, middle drawer with framed floral marquetry and geometric parquetry in satinwood, lower drawer of conforming design, apron having gilt bronze snake, banner swag, and figurehead decoration, elongated acanthus leaves to leg shoulders, case raised on gilt bronze paw sabots.

Finish likely refreshed, scattered nicking, very minor restorations to veneer, light chip to veneer near pull mount, some rubbing to gilding, minor age cracking to veneer to rear left leg, presenting well with wear commensurate with age and use. Lot includes key.
