The Cub Stands On The Edge Of The River Bank And Dips Her Tiny Paw Into The Water Embracing This New Experience. Her Mother Has Taken Her To The River Bank To Show Her How To Fish And To Calm A Rumbling Tummy. This Bronze Sculpture Was Cast Using The "Lost Wax Method" Which Has Been Used For Thousands Of Years Ensuring The Best Quality And Detail You Can Get. This Quality Is Seen In All The Miniscule Detail Of The Sculpture. The River Bed And The Debris Of Broken Branches, Rocks, Pebbles, And Leaf Help Create And Capture The Environment These Wild Bears Roam In. Jules Moigniez Was Born In Senlis Sur L'Oise, France In 1835 And Died In Saint-Martin-Du-Teire, France On May 29, 1894. The Son Of A Metal Gilder, Moigniez Was A Student Of Paul Comolera. He Debuted At The Exposition Universelle In 1855 With Pointer And Pheasant And Falcon And Weasel Each In Plaster. Size: 14X10 inches. Weight: 17 lbs.
