Description

UNITED STATES, MID 20TH CENTURY A vintage lap harp guitar manufactured by "The Globe Brand". The instrument features a rosewood top and back with semi-exotic wood sides. The harp features a lap steel guitar section with ebony fretboard and steel frets. The guitars tuning machines are topped with ivory and affixed to an engraved gold plate. The instrument is held in a custom wooden case.

Dimensions: Instrument size 22" by 12" by 1 1/2"; Case size 23 1/2" by 14" by 3 1/2"

Condition

Missing parts of frets and crack on reverse. Losses to veneer.
